SEGi University emphasizes not only on developing the students’ intellect but looks after their physical well-being as well. SEGi University brings a challenging environment for the students where they are expected to balance their academic learning with extracurricular activities and in to extend help to the students, the University has come up with many sports, cultural and debate clubs and societies. The students of SEGi University also have the opportunity to participate in sport events conducted jointly by Malaysian Association of Private College and Universities (Abbreviated as MAPCU), Majlis Sukan ITPS Malaysia (MASISWA) and Sukan Institusi Pendidikan Tinggi (SUKIPT). This initiative sets the stage for students of SEGi University to manifest their potential as well as learn qualities of discipline, coordination, etc. The University also trains the students in developing soft skills which plays a significant role in setting up a holistic environment in the university so one, along with having good academic scores, is capable to actualize his ideas.  

Accommodation facilities are provided in both on-campus and off-campus settings. Speaking of on-campus accommodation, it is fashioned in dorm-style manner with facilities of bathroom on a shared-basis.  The off-campus accommodation, on the other hand, is a 3 bedroom apartment. All the fundamental facilities are made available to the students so they can lead a comfortable lifestyle while pursuing higher education. The on-campus setting consists of 2 blocks, each 4 floors high. These blocks are packed with facilities of swimming pool, convenience store and cafeteria.  Speaking of what one would get inside the room, the list continues with bedding facilities (beds, mattresses, pillows, and blankets), air conditioning, water dispenser, internet facilities, study tables and storage facilities.
